[The screen flickers to life, and there's Erielle's face up close. She looks as if she's really excited over something --]

Have a look, Ava. We found it! It was a bit hard at first, but Caim managed to figure out where it is. I would have never even guessed it'd be in a place like this. Right, Caim--? [The camera pans over to where Caim is standing, right in front of a mirror, but there's no reply from him.] Caim . . . ? [And now it looks like Erielle is approaching him, because Caim gets closer to the camera until --] Caim--!!

[Without warning, the camera feed gets distorted, followed by the sound of something shattering into pieces. The device clatters to the ground, but not before letting anyone have a glimpse of the blood trickling down from Caim's face, and his body crumpling to the ground.

The last thing anyone sees is Erielle blocking the rest of the view, a white shadow coming up from behind her.]



[ooc. So! The fun begins. Erielle's communicator is offline, but she can nick Caim's if she responds to anyone.

[Pauses, and then she's laughing. Sounds like a joke.]

[There was the unmistakable sound of running. But there isn't any panic. Not yet, no. But as the scene shifts, Erielle sounds a bit concerned. Worried.]

[It's obvious she wasn't meant to say anything worth broadcasting, but certain things come first.]

Caim! Ava! [And everything goes unsaid: we have to help them.]
